A Crazy Winter

Tuesday, January 22, 2008

Well the holidays have come and gone, and I've been through the gauntlet it seems. A week before Christmas I (along with every co-worker I had) was given a note saying (basically) "As of the first, you're all fired." So here I am, 3 weeks unemployed, and a little down about it.

On the other hand, I'm not terribly worried. Granted it's a stressful situation, and I tend to be a little down on myself in general (this being no exception), but on a spiritual level, I feel strongly that "God is on it." I'm pretty sure He's got my back. So I'm doing my best to have faith on the matter. I don't fault my boss for the lay off. All things considered, it was a good business move based on the situation he was in (which I will not go into).

I'd ask those that do pray, to keep me in them.

On a happier and more childish note, I have a great deal of video game time. I play a little Guitar Hero III, and a TON of World of Warcraft. I have a lot of characters I play on that game. But two that I favor. Xenrath, my mage, is considered my "main" and a recent character to hit the higher levels is a paladin I made named Targe. I play along side my wife who also has a mage named Tasmyn a bit and we have a blast.

I'm also hoping for some acting opportunities. I'm called back for a Peter Piper Pizza Commercial, which would be a lot of fun. Especially based on the premise of the commercial (which I'm unsure that I can share... so I won't at the moment).

Well that's all for now folks. Stay tuned... I might actually blog from time to time.
